The VIP Desert Safari costs AED 199 per person — only AED 50 more than the standard Evening Desert Safari at AED 149. For that small step up you get reserved seating and dinner served to your table, which many guests say is the best-value upgrade we offer.

A Typical VIP Evening, Hour by Hour

• 3-4 PM — hotel pickup in a 4x4 Land Cruiser
• Late afternoon — dune bashing at Al Khatim, about 45 minutes from the city, followed by sunset photos
• Early evening — camel ride, sandboarding, henna, Arabic coffee and dates at the camp
• Dinner time — BBQ buffet served at your reserved VIP seating while the Tanoura and belly dance shows run
• 9-9:30 PM — drop-off back at your hotel
